I was born in Birmingham, Alabama and moved to Lakeland with my family when I was 6 years old. I graduated from Polk Community College in 1989 with an AA degree in Liberal Arts. I continued my education at St. Petersburg Junior College where I recieved an AS degree in Dental Hygiene in 1991. I started working with Dr. Llano in 1991 and have been with the practice for almost 30 years. I enjoy traveling - even day or weekend trips to explore and see something new. I also enjoy boating, hiking, and spending time with my friends. I have one son who is a senior at Harrison School for the Arts. After watching him play baseball for 10 years, I now enjoy watching him perform on stage at school and at the Lakeland Community Theatre.
My dental career of 33 years includes 12 years as a chairside dental assistant and 21 years in administration. I feel my career in the dental field has been verying satisfying as I love helping patients understand the need for dental treatment and to improve their overall health. I relocated to Lakeland 2 years ago with my husband of 13 years from Howell, Michigan. Together, my husband and I have 5 adult children, 13 grandchildren and one great grandson; whom all reside in Michigan. In my spare time, I like to explore what all Florida has to offer. Whether it be the great beaches, food or just a great drive to a new destination, there is so much to do and see. I also like to listen to music, crochet and Facetime with family back in Michigan.
